Artist: Jeffrey Jones

Artist Jeffrey Jones was born in the 1960’s.  He spent much of his youth in the vibrant scene of  Los Angeles area.  In his late 20’s he preferred travel over the A-Typical college and career route.  His travel imbued him with new experiences, insight, introspection, and inspiration which now greatly influence his works.

Jeffrey doesn’t always subscribe to the “Less Is More” philosophy, however he visually prefers empty spaces over clutter and confusion.  This theory is evident in his metal sculptural series he is currently working in.  The artists sculptures exude a serene minimalist quality, and an element of complexity at the same time.  This gives the viewer both expressions simultaneously, creating a push pull effect with our emotions.   

Jeffrey has exhibited his many series of works throughout the decades with various establishments in the LA area.  His current body of metal sculptures are an exclusive with Peri G. Fine Art in Palm Springs.  The artist can be found designing sculptural shape-studies in his studio in Joshua Tree,  where he continually creates and receives unlimited inspiration from his solitude.
